LG Will License webOS to Other Smart TV Makers

  LG has announced it will license its webOS smart TV platform to other TV makers, specifically brand partners. webOS has a long history in the tech industry, originally being released by Palm, Inc. in 2009 to replace the aging Palm OS. Palm was never able to recover its former glory and was acquired, along with webOS, by HP the following year. In 2013, HP sold webOS to LG, with the latter using it to power their smart TVs. The platform generally receives positive reviews for its sleek and intuitive interface, fast performance and overall versatility. LG has now decided to license webOS to other TV manufacturers, a move that will likely spur widespread adoption of the platform. Home Improvement's Zachery Ty Bryan Pleads Guilty to Attacking Girlfriend

  Former Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan has pleaded guilty in his domestic violence case as part of a plea deal with prosecutors. TMZ broke the news , which comes months after his October arrest in Oregon after a physical altercation with his girlfriend. Per the outlet, the former star pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of menacing and assault in the fourth degree. The 39-year-old actor was arrested and taken to the Lane County Jail in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday, Oct. 17.   F      "Almost Fourteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. After  weeks of speculation , hot electric vehicle start up  Lucid Motors  has agreed to become a publicly traded company  by merging  with  Churchill Capital Corp IV . Now Churchill Capital (ticker: CCIV) stock is crashing in premarket trading, down almost 40%. Investors believe Lucid deserves a sky-high valuation, just not an eye-popping one. The merger values Lucid at about $12 billion, but that figure is based on the cash coming in from special purpose acquisition company Churchill. The valuation of Lucid based on Churchill’s stock price Monday is $92 billion based on the  1.6 billion shares  that will be outstanding after the merger closes. That’s enough to make Lucid—a company yet to sell a car—the fifth most valuable car maker on the planet by market capitalization, worth more than  General Motors   (GM),  NIO

Vaccines will be available at sites like the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence and the old Citizens Bank building in Cranston. Eligible individuals can visit VaccinateRI.org. Those having trouble signing up online can call 1-844-930-1779. Here is a step-by-step guide to registering for a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
